I have very mixed feelings about fitness trackers and the data they collect even though I am right this second wearing a Fitbit Force on my left wrist that I bought after Christmas. I even wrote a whole article about my ambivalence. It’s nice getting paid to express your confusion.

I haven’t lost any weight or gained that much sleep, but I am at least aware of how little progress is being made on either front. It’s comforting, in a way.
