It has always struck me that, at least for those allergic to the small beasties, bees must be an incredibly frustrating part of nature. In the spring and summer, they seem to be everywhere, so you can’t really enjoy the outdoors without wondering if the death sting is near. Yet, they also produce one of the greatest single substances on Earth, honey, which is a sweet treat, a great condiment on bagels (on top of cream cheese, of course), and a term of endearment for older couples everywhere.

How can this little flying bug be both a bringer of twitching death and a bringer of honey? It’s even worse when you’re indoors, say on a space ship, as Bobbo and Meany find out here.
