Would we be wrong to not be impressed by the three minute trailers for Apocalypto that are just a bunch of shots of mostly naked Mayans running through the jungle to a pulsing drum? I mean, I like running around naked and yelling as much as the next guy, but I don’t really like watching other people do it.
My favorite trailer is the one where Mel Gibson includes himself to explain what the movie is about. “It’s about new beginnings. Unfortunately for a new beginning…something has to end.” This is already beginning to bore me. Please make it end.

I forgot to mention that Meany and Mel Gibson have crossed Karmic paths before.
