We stole part of a page out of Dana Carvey’s Sting name jokes for this one. HE’S A PRESENT TENSE VERB! But I got to thinking, what if it’s not a verb at all? What if he’s the sting you feel when something stings you? Yeah. Think about it.

My friends and I were really into Sting in high school. I mean like really into Sting. We all got Ten Summoner’s Tales tattoos together and shit. I think Fields of Gold was our fight song.
I think Meany should watch out for any entity called “The Police.” They might have nightsticks.
