Space Monkeys!

Unlike Pablo, I haven’t seen Pacific Rim yet. With kids and limited babysitting options, it’s always tricky to get out to a theater.

Because of some holidays recently, though, we did get to see Monsters University (weirdly disappointing for a Pixar movie) and Despicable Me 2 (hilarious and cute) with the kids and my wife and I saw This is the End on our own and it was pretty great. Not as knock-down hilarious as I’d been hearing, but pretty solid.

Pacific Rim is an easy movie to root for and even though it doesn’t seem to be blazing it at the box office, I’m glad people I know who’ve seen it have really enjoyed it. It’s next on my list, up on a giant IMAX screen, to watch.
