When news first broke about the Higgs boson, I got very excited. Then, I made about 20 different “super hard-on collider” jokes.
Now, hear tell of the “God particle” forsaking us. This is exactly why I don’t go to church.

It wasn’t until the comic appeared on the site that I realized it must have been inspired, at least in some small way, by the old much-missed web cartoon, Radiskull and Devil Doll.
How much did I love that blast of late-’90s Flash glee? I still have a Devil Doll t-shirt I occasionally wear and a plush doll that sits on my desk at work.
