…In the Funny Pages
This comic reveals several truths about the awful humans behind the glorious monkeys — one of which is that I work in a newsroom where the generic language of Newspaperese flows as is from textual waterfalls, not only from those who inhabit the office, but the feeds from Associated Press, EFE, Knight-Ridder, Cox, New York Times newswire and other sources. You could swim in it and wash yourself with the loofa of Inverted Pyramid style.
The other truth is that it’s not always easy to write these strips because of the crazy scheduled lifestyles I and my brother lead. Sometimes we’ll go almost a whole week without talking much.
Luckily next week is Humans Eat Turkey Day, so we should be catching up and getting our heads together for a Strategy for the Future. This Future, we hope, will include you.
