Launch bad
We were pretty upset about this whole Iran space monkey launching thing when we heard about it last week. First, there was a story about them shooting the terrified monkey into the stars, which sounded terrible, and then a whole rigmarole about possibly switched monkeys.
We thought, “If only we had some sort of comic about space monkeys where we could opine on such a thing in a relevant way.”
It took about 20 minutes, but suddenly we were like, “Wait, we DO have that! Let’s get to work.”
You know, launching stuff into space is pretty exciting, probably. I can see how if you had the resources to do that, you’d want to push stuff into space like ASAP. But if you’re not exactly sure if what you send into space isn’t going to come back, you know, dead, why not hold off a bit? Do some research. Study what other countries that perfected this shit like 40 years ago did and maybe copy that.
No monkeys have to get hurt. If you hurt monkeys just because you can, you’re just being a dick, really.
Meany weighed in on the matter on their new Twitter account after hearing about it from NPR:
We intercepted the vessel and sent back a spy. You're welcome, assholes. http://t.co/3NPBtLCC link via @wrightbryan3 (Input source: Meany)

@nprnews This is an outrage and the simian space community will not stand for it! (Also, please tell Robert Siegel we like him a lot.)

What is the meaning of this #IranianSpaceMonkey hashtag nonsense? Do you idiots think this is a joke?! (Input source: Captain Meany)

Meany also weighed in on the Super Bowl, in lieu of us doing a comic about it.
Ha! Stupid humans. Let the galaxy know when you've mastered electricity. #Blackout (Input source: Captain Meany)

Yep, Meany sure does love that Twitter. He has a lot to say about all the things we’re doing wrong.

Sad space monkey
We’re all about the happy and vengeful side of monkeys in space. This is not cool:
And then Omar told me about the rigmarole. It was really all more than I could handle. So I just put my head down and churned out this comic to express my displeasure with the human race.
Speaking of the human race, vote for us!
