It’s been a long time since Meany’s son ABMM has been seen. Now we know why.
I’m sure it must be tough juggling a career and a child, especially when your career takes you out among the stars. I can barely get my dog to poop on 20 square feet of grass. If I were commanding an interstellar army, something would have to give… and poop almost always wins out.
Yes, there’s a pretty heavy psychic weight that children bring to the party (which begins and lasts several years as a Poopie Party), even when those children are not within line of sight.
It’s easy to forget as Meany goes off on these weird adventures that he shoulders that responsibility, but it’s very likely Meany does not forget and feels some measure of guilt that he doesn’t really understand where this strange offspring is coming from exactly.
Wait, that’s parenting for everybody. Meany’s just in it like everybody else.
