Space Monkeys!

Meany embarked on his documentary project in the last comic and apparently had it done and submitted to Oscar voters as a write-in in less than a week.

I prefer to think of this less as a suggestion that Meany did shoddy work than to presume that he’s just that productive when driven by bile and envy. Some documentarians spend years examining their subjects to get the right nuance on film. When it comes to monkey mistreatment, Meany probably already had plenty of material to work with.

As for the actual Oscars, I haven’t seen any of the nominated docs, but Pablo tells me that The Act of Killing is fantastic.
